Author Jill Anderson of "The To-Hell-and-Back Club" will discuss her book noon Monday at the Brainerd Public Library.
Her novel centers on Peyton, a middle-aged wife and mother who seeks the help of a group of other women after a tragic loss.
Anderson lives on a lake in a small town in central Minnesota. For two decades, she has worked at a communications company. She also has written part-time for a Minnesota women's magazine for more than 10 years. She is a member of Women's Fiction Writers Association and is currently at work on her second women's fiction novel, "Crazy Little Town Called Love."
The author appearance is part of the Friends of the Brainerd Public Library's mission to bring acclaimed authors to the library to speak about their latest work and the craft of writing. People who attend are welcome to bring a packed lunch. The presentations are sponsored by the Friends through their volunteer and fundraising efforts, and are free to the public. No registration is needed.
Next month's author, Elisa Korenne, will make an appearance.
