Authorities arrest 3 in burglary, south of Little Falls

LITTLE FALLS — Three men were arrested Thursday, July 23, following a burglary in progress at a residence in Swan River Township, south of Little Falls.

The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office was called at 11:42 a.m. by a resident in Swan River Township had just interrupted a burglary in progress at their property. The resident drove by his property and noticed an unfamiliar vehicle parked there. The resident contacted the sheriff’s office and deputies responded. Deputies made contact with 34-year-old Avon man, a 33-year-old St. Cloud man and 47-year-old St. Cloud man. Through the course of the investigation, deputies learned items were removed from one of the buildings on the property and were located in the suspect vehicle, the sheriff’s office reported.

Deputies arrested the men and transported them to the Morrison County Jail where they are awaiting formal charges.

The sheriff’s office was assisted at the scene by the Royalton Police Department.
