MENAHGA — The Wadena County Sheriff’s Office identified nine juvenile males who were allegedly responsible for damaging six golf carts and property over the weekend of Oct. 18 at the Blueberry Pines Golf Course in Menahga.

The cost estimate of the damages of the golf carts and the golf course property was more than $40,000, the sheriff's office reported. The estimated cost of damages took into consideration the replacement and repairs of the damage. The full extent of the damage will not be known until spring, the sheriff’s office reported.

The sheriff’s office received a report of the damage the morning of Oct. 18. Law enforcement reviewed video surveillance of four males seen doing the damage on the greens and bunkers.

The juvenile suspects were from the Menahga, Buffalo and Greenfield areas.

The case is being forwarded to the Wadena County Attorney's Office for formal charges.
