One suspect is in custody and one is still wanted by authorities in connection with a burglary in Crow Wing County.

The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office received a call at 8:30 p.m. Monday from a resident who has a seasonal cabin on Grouse Lane in Fifty Lakes. The caller said they have an in-home monitoring system at their cabin and there were two males who had broken into the cabin and were currently inside. The caller was watching live footage of the burglary, where it appeared a speaker system was taken.

Police officers from Crosslake and Breezy Point responded with Crow Wing County deputies. Prior to officers' arrival, the suspects had left the cabin. Deputies collected evidence at the scene, along with the video footage and were able to identify two suspects from St. Paul.

With the assistance of the St. Paul Police Department, one suspect was located and arrested. The other suspect has not been located but is actively being sought by law enforcement.

The sheriff's office also was assisted by the Baxter Police K-9 officer and the St. Paul Police Department.
