IDEAL TOWNSHIP-The 31-year-old Orono man who died Saturday, July 14, after a tree he was cutting down fell on him at a property near Kimble Shores Drive in Ideal Township has been identified as Graham Merry.
The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office released the name Wednesday, July 18. The sheriff's office received report at 1:27 p.m.July 14 of an injury from a fallen tree. Responders arrived and found the man died from the injuries he suffered.
The sheriff's office was assisted by the Pequot Lakes and Breezy Point police departments and the Ideal Fire Department.
