Authorities seek information on camper theft

HARDING -- The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information regarding the theft of a large camper from a residence on Sullivan Lake near Harding.

The sheriff’s office reported it received the theft report Saturday, Nov. 2. The camper was stolen from property located on Logan Lane on the south side of Sullivan Lake, about 4 miles northeast of Harding in Richardson Township.

The camper is a Salem Villa RV trailer, 40 feet long with several slide outs. The camper was wrapped in a gray tarp, which covered the entire vehicle. The camper is very large and would have taken up the entire roadway, the sheriff’s office reported. It was used as a summer cabin and was placed on blocks at the seasonal site. It appeared to be ripped from the blocks and wiring. It was pulled out of the lot and traveled westbound on Logan Lane.

The sheriff’s office encouraged residents to be on the lookout and to contact the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office at 320-632-9233 with any information regarding the theft.
