The Babinski Foundation Animal Shelter is conducting a holiday supply drive for its pets.
The shelter is utilizing special donation boxes provided by Presents For Pets, a newly established nonprofit organization that lends assistance for this purpose.
Those interested can find the boxes at the following locations: MidMinnesota Bank in Pequot Lakes, Woods to Water Real Estate in Nisswa, Shear Grace Studio in Pine River, Supervalu in Pequot Lakes, American National Bank in Nisswa, Fleet Farm in Baxter, and Cub Foods in Baxter.
By making it easier for pet lovers to drop off donations where they shop, more people can give and more pets can be helped, organizers stated in a news release. The top needed items are cat and dog toys, dog treats, peanut butter, paper towels, and Dawn dish soap. Boxes will remain in place through the end of December.
