The Babinski Foundation animal shelter in Pequot Lakes will host a fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, both virtually and at the shelter.

There will be goal challenges, with a challenge to complete each time a certain donation amount is reached. Pequot Lakes Mayor Tyler Gardener, Pequot Lakes Police Chief Eric Klang and Sgt. Ryan Franz have all been invited to help out with the challenges, like having a dog lick peanut butter off their faces or getting whip cream in the face. An ice bucket challenge will also be included.

The event will mostly take place virtually via Facebook Live, but guests are also invited to swing by the shelter in person.
