Heartwood Senior Living Community in Crosby is holding a banana split fundraiser at 2 p.m. on Sept. 23 to raise funds for its Walk to End Alzheimer's team. Cost is $5 per person and includes music by Bob Hoeft.
Heartwood invites all those interested to join its team at the Alzheimer's Association's walk beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at the Northland Arboretum in Brainerd. A registration table with information will be set up from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, located at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center near Cornerstone Coffee.
