PINE RIVER-Pine River, Backus and Pequot Lakes firefighters responded to a large barn fire south of Pine River reported about 11:30 a.m. today.
The barn is located on 34th Street Southwest, off County Road 115 just west of Highway 371. A report from the police scanner stated smoke was visible from the city of Pine River about 4 miles north.
