BAXTER-Starting Aug. 8, about 5.4 miles of street and 1.8 miles of trails will be seal-coated in the city of Baxter.
Streets included in the project are: Inglewood Drive, Atwater Road, Jewelwood Drive, Molly Drive, Afton, Franklin Drive, Kirkwood Drive, Lynnwood Drive, Greenbriar Drive, Grand Oaks Drive, Firewood Drive.
The contractor, Morris Sealcoat and Trucking, will have until Aug. 15 to complete the project. The contractor will then have up to Aug. 26 to install new pavement markings on the seal-coated streets.
The streets will remain open to local traffic throughout the project and the city of Baxter will send an official notice of when construction is complete.
