BAXTER-Three candidates for the Baxter city administrator post are slated for interviews today and Saturday.
Baxter department heads are scheduled to meet with Bradley Chapulis, Darcy Long, and Lisa Sova between 1-3 p.m. today at city hall with a casual social event to follow. Candidates, council members and staff will gather from 5-6:30 p.m. at Prairie Bay, which is open to the public to attend.
On Saturday, the full council will meet with candidates beginning with Sova at 8:30 a.m. at city hall, followed by Long at 9:30 a.m. and Chapulis at 10:30 a.m. Candidates will be asked to identify a need in the city and how they would address it.
The council will follow the interviews with lunch at city hall with council deliberating regarding candidates and a potential decision on a job offer to the candidate of choice.
