BEMIDJI - A Bemidji man who attempted to kill himself and a passenger by rolling his car pleaded guilty last week to felony assault and terroristic threats in Beltrami County District Court.
Kenneth Oscar Osmundson, 24, is charged with second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon and terroristic threats-reckless disregard after he attempted to flip his car in the incident on U.S. Highway 2 in July, according to court documents. Osmundson pleaded not guilty to the charges in September.
Osmundson is facing 12 years in prison on $24,000 in fines on the two charges. His next court appearance is scheduled for Dec. 15.
