Benefit concert Sunday night in Crosslake

A concert Sunday night at Crosslake Lutheran Church will benefit the Mark L. Anderson Endowed Scholarship at Gustavus Adolphus College and the Maureen L. Anderson Endowed Scholarship at Crosslake Lutheran Church.

A concert Sunday night at Crosslake Lutheran Church will benefit the Mark L. Anderson Endowed Scholarship at Gustavus Adolphus College and the Maureen L. Anderson Endowed Scholarship at Crosslake Lutheran Church.

The "Home for the Holidays" concert is 5 p.m. Sunday at Crosslake Lutheran Church. It will feature Chad M. Anderson along with Nancy Albertson on piano and Caitlin Steffen on violin for a night of music ranging from '50s pop songs to music by John Denver and James Taylor. There will also be Christmas music to lead into the holiday season. Refreshments will be served after the concert.

Chad M. Anderson, a professional singer and actor originally from Brainerd, has performed off-Broadway in New York City, at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, The Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, and at DisneySea Resort in Tokyo, Japan. Please bring a canned food item that will be donated to the local food shelf in time for the Thanksgiving holiday.
