A boulder at Brainerd High School is the first attempt at a BHS Class of 2017 class gift, Principal Andrea Rusk said. The company that donated the boulder is going to come back and pick it up, she said.
The class will instead select a different gift, like a bench, to serve as a useful, lasting mark on the school, Rusk said. A senior class gift is a tradition at BHS, she said.
