The Brainerd High School music department's annual Showcase Concert is 7 p.m. Tuesday at Tornstrom Auditorium in the Washington Educational Services Building.
The concert features the A Cappella Choir, Chamber Orchestra and Wind Symphony Band performing music that was featured at the recent Central Lakes Concert music festival.
"This is a wonderful opportunity for people to hear the best of our department," said Brian Stubbs, choir director at BHS, in a release. "The top ensembles are coming off of a huge performance at CLC, and now are sharing their sets with their hometown. It's the only time each year that all three share the Tornstrom stage."
Each ensemble will play for about 25 minutes, for a total concert of about 75 minutes. The A Cappella Choir will begin the concert, then the Chamber Orchestra will take the stage. The Wind Symphony Band will close out the evening.
Tickets are on sale beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the door. Prices are $6 for adults and $4 for students and seniors.
