Brainerd High School's 2016 prom theme is "Hollywood: A Black Tie Affair," and the festivities take place Saturday.
Grand march will start at 7 p.m. Saturday in the BHS gym, with the public welcome to attend. Admission is $2 for adults with children 12 and under admitted for free. Doors will open for seating at 6 p.m. Parents are encouraged to park in the south lots and students in the north lot.
The dance will begin immediately following the grand march and will go until 11 p.m. It is open to juniors, seniors and their registered guests, including sophomores.
The junior class cabinet organized the event under the direction of junior class officers: President Richelle Bjork, Vice President Chloe Hollen, Secretary Makayla Clough and Treasurer Hanna Degen. They were assisted by faculty advisers Madeline Anderson and Christina Lundgren.
