GLYNDON — The Brainerd High School Competitive Speech Team had a strong finish Saturday, Feb. 1, at the speech tournament at Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton, school officials reported.
BHS student results supplied by Coach Dave Pritschet include Anna Streed, second place in original oratory; Meryl Tigenoah, Julia Chock and Andrew Mendez, took second, fourth and sixth places in extemporaneous speaking; Taisha Linder, ribboned in extemporaneous reading; Autumn Paulus, ribbon in storytelling; and Gracie Simonson, ribbon in humorous interpretation.
