MORRILL-A Big Lake man was injured when he tried to swerve to miss a deer and crashed into a pole at 1 a.m. Monday near the intersection of 93rd Street and 345th Avenue, in Morrill Township near Morrill, reported the Morrison County Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office stated Vincent Poff, 20, Big Lake, was traveling on 93rd Street when he swerved to miss a deer, went into the ditch and collided with a power pole. Poff was treated at the scene by medical personnel.
The sheriff's office was assisted at the scene by the MLMB First Response Team, Gold Cross Ambulance and East Central Electric Association.
