Former state representative Greg Blaine was elected to the Morrison County Board Tuesday, April 10.
Blaine received 514 votes, or 53.26 percent. Kenneth Primus received 449, or 46.53 percent. There were two write-in votes.
Blaine noted he is a lifelong resident of Morrison County in Culdrum Township. He and his wife, Michelle, purchased the Blaine family farm in 1990 and have continued as dairy producers through robotic milking.
Last fall as he announced his candidacy, Blaine said as a former state legislator, who served six years in the Minnesota House of Representatives, he has working knowledge of the many issues of government that affect the people of District 5 and Morrison County.
