A 35-year-old man was arrested Tuesday night after he overturned a boat pulling a tube on Crow Wing Lake.
At 9:24 p.m. Tuesday, the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office was called to respond to an overturned boat on the lake. The sheriff's office reported the boat contained six passengers, five of whom were children under 16 years old. Two children rode on the tube, and three were in the boat at the time it overturned. An adult was also a passenger in the boat.
Neither the driver nor the passengers suffered injury as a result of the incident, the sheriff's office reported.
The boat operator, Justin Michael Haehn, 35, was arrested under suspicion of boating while intoxicated. Haehn was charged in Crow Wing County District Court Wednesday with two counts of gross misdemeanor driving while intoxicated. He is currently being held in the Crow Wing County Jail.
