A bike ride benefit will be held Saturday at the Hazelton Town Hall for Bob Morris, who has stage IV lung cancer.

Morris is a biker, husband, father of six, grandfather of 12, recovering addict and a student. In February 2013, Morris was diagnosed with cancer and has since been undergoing treatments. Additional financial support is needed to cover medical costs, and all proceeds will go to Morris.

The Hazelton Town Hall is located 12 miles south of Aitkin on Highway 169. Registration for the Bob'z Buddiez bike ride will begin at 9 a.m. The cost is $10 for bikers and buddies (non-riders), $5 for children ages 11-17 and free for kids 10 and under. Silent auction bidding will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and lunch will be served from noon to 3 p.m.

For tickets and more information, call Tracy Morris at 838-8646.
