HACKENSACK - Faith in Action for Cass County is sponsoring a fundraiser Booyah from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6, at Union Church in Hackensack.
Booyah is a thick, rich stew containing several types of meats and vegetables, slow-cooked for maximum flavor. There will also be Linnea Dietrich's organic sourdough bread, a choice of desserts and a beverage.
Larry Kimball of Walker will be on hand with some guitar music and folk songs.
Tickets are available at the door.
All proceeds from the Booyah go to support Faith in Action for Cass County, a volunteer community program that supports seniors, the disabled and others in need of a little neighborly help.
