Boy Scouts of America hosts leadership webinar

The Boy Scouts of America, Central Minnesota Council will host a Community Leadership Webinar at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, June 11.

Presenters for the event include Bishop Don Kettler, Diocese of St. Cloud; Greg Flint of Cold Spring; Steve Larawy of Larawy Financial Advisors and St. Cloud City Council; and Sheriff Steve Soyka, Stearns County.

These leaders will share their personal experiences in Scouting and the lessons they learned earning the rank of Eagle Scout and how it helped to prepare them for their leadership roles and how they still rely on those core values today, especially in these challenging times, a news release stated. The council will provide an update on how the Central Minnesota Council and local Scout units are staying active and serving families through this difficult time.

People need to register in advance on the council’s website at bsacmc.org . Participants will be asked to consider making a donation to support local Scouting in central Minnesota. All

funds raised will be matched one to one up to $10,000.
