The Brainerd Boy Scouts of America Central Minnesota Council is one of the many organizations participating in the annual Give to the Max Day, scheduled Nov. 12.

"We have set up our website, www.bsacmc.org , with a to link to our giving page," said Central Minnesota Scout Executive David Trehey. "We are hoping to raise $10,000 through this effort but every donation counts and we need them."

Donation on Give to the Max Day may also help the Boy Scouts receive an additional donation of $1,000, because every gift made on GiveMN.org will be entered into an hourly drawing for a

golden ticket award given to a nonprofit organization.

One donation will also be randomly selected for a super-sized gift of $10,000.

"Our volunteers do a great job preparing our young people to be the leaders of tomorrow by instilling in them the Scout Oath and Law," said Trehey. "But we really need your support and Give to the Max is a great way to show that support."
