Brainerd American Legion memorial service set for tonight

The Brainerd Legion Post and Auxiliary will host a memorial service 7 p.m. Thursday, May 11, to remember those members who passed away in the previous year.

The Brainerd Legion Post and Auxiliary will host a memorial service 7 p.m. Thursday, May 11, to remember those members who passed away in the previous year.

Coffee and cake will be served following the service.

Those being remembered from the Post No. 255 include Charles Benzie, Darwin Buckingham, Leroy Dahl, Frank Dumbeck, Alex Ebertowski, Tom Gillman, Gerald Goering, James Guin, Robert Gustafson, John Handeland, Donald Hauck, Tom Keller, Robert Lundeby, Joseph Marolt, John P. Martin, Wayne Morton, Leland Niles, Raymond Norrgard, Clarence C. Olson, Gerald J. Olson, Morris Olson, Norman Olson, Donald Peterson, Richard Rofidal, Peter Smude, Alex Stalker, Darrell Stave, Clarence Steinert, John W. Vessey, Roger Walton, Alan Westberg, Wilfred Westphal and Charles Zelenak.
