The vigil begins at 5 p.m. and is scheduled to last until dark. Vigil participants will meet at the vigil site. Signs and flags are available for vigil participants.

The Hands Off Venezuela vigil will demand an end to U.S. threats against Venezuela, the lifting of U.S. sanctions on Venezuela, and the cessation of U.S. interference in Venezuela's internal affairs. The vigil opposes a possible U.S. war against Venezuela.

The vigil will call for the U.S. to respect Venezuela's sovereignty and right to self-determination. The vigil supports using diplomacy and international law to resolve disputes between the U.S. and Venezuela.

After the vigil, there will be an informal meeting and dinner at Brick House Pizza, Bread and Bagel, 302 Washington St., Brainerd.
