Two Brainerd men were injured when their vehicles collided at 10:54 a.m. Monday, Aug. 26, at South Sixth and Willow streets in Brainerd.
The Brainerd Police Department reported Tyler T. Scull, 34, was driving east on Willow Street, stopping for the stop sign at the intersection of South Sixth Street. Scull then proceeded to travel east through the intersection, striking on the driver’s side a vehicle driven by Anthony E. Veith, 60. Veith had the right of way and stated he never saw the other vehicle coming, police reported. Scull admitted to driving through the intersection and stated he did not see the second vehicle.
Scull was treated on scene and released and Veith was transported by North Memorial Ambulance to Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd.
