An incident resulting in a death Thursday, Dec. 23, is under criminal investigation by the Brainerd Police Department.
The death was reported to police at 9:47 p.m. at an undisclosed location in the city of Brainerd. Deputy Chief John Davis said more specific information about the location would not be released Tuesday because of the active investigation.
The body of the person who died was transported to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsy.
Davis said there’s no threat to the public and he expected more information on the death would be released in the near future.
