The Brainerd Fire Department responded to several calls over the past four days.
Firefighters responded at 8:38 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, to Northern Orthopedics, 2014 S. Sixth St., for a report of a fire in the front vestibule. Upon arrival, the fire was out and firefighters ventilated the building.
At 7:35 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to Holiday Inn Express, 15739 Audubon Way, for a fire alarm, but were canceled en route.
Firefighters had two calls Sunday, with the first one at 12:01 p.m. to Northern Lakes Senior Apartments, 8182 Excelsior Road, Baxter, for a water flow alarm. Upon investigation, it was found to be a broken sprinkler pipe. Then at 3:07 p.m., a fire alarm was reported at Brainerd YMCA, 602 Oak St., which was determined to be a false alarm.
