The Brainerd Fire Department responded to five calls Thursday and Friday, Dec. 13 and 14.
Firefighters were called at 6:43 p.m. to 7968 Industrial Park Road, Waste Management, for a fire alarm, which was determined to be unfounded upon investigation.
On Friday:
• At 1:04 a.m. and 2:02 a.m. firefighters were called to the 900 block of Oak Street for carbon monoxide checks. Both were determined to be unfounded.
• At 6:59 a.m. firefighters were called to the 6400 block of Maple Drive for a fire alarm that turned out to be a false alarm.

• At 10:33 a.m. firefighters were called to 7376 Woida Road, Comfort Suites Rapid River Lodge, for a fire alarm that turned out to be a false alarm.
