The Brainerd Fire Department responded to a possible structure fire Monday, June 28, in south Brainerd.
Firefighters were called at 10:43 a.m. to a house fire on the 1200 block of South Seventh Street. Upon arrival, an investigation determined there was no fire, but there was steam coming from the garage roof. Firefighters inspected the garage roof for hot spots and cleared the scene.

Wednesday:
Called at 1:11 p.m. to a fire alarm at Garfield Elementary School, 1120 NE 10th St. Firefighters were canceled en route due to a false alarm.
Called at 1:43 p.m. to a small grass fire on the 8300 block of Greenwood Road. Upon arrival, the fire was out and fire crews checked to ensure no spread.
Called at 10:44 a.m. to a report of a gas smell on the 700 block of Northeast Second Avenue, which was determined to be unfounded.
Called at 11:15 a.m. to a large debris pile of logs and stumps on fire on the 17000 block of Gull River Road. Fire crews extinguished the fire, along with the DNR.
Called at 6:54 p.m. to a report of smoke on the roof of the Crow Wing County Central Services Building, 202 Laurel St. Law enforcement canceled the call as the smoke was determined to be caused from generator maintenance.
Friday:
Called at 8:25 a.m. to a fire alarm at Knife River, 7925 Industrial Park Road, which was determined to be caused from burned food.
Called at 2:58 p.m. to a motorcycle crash at the intersection of Highway 25 and Crow Wing County Highway 22. Firefighters assisted at the scene, but it was not known if anyone went to the hospital.

Called at 6:58 a.m. to a fire alarm at Knife River, 7925 Industrial Park Road, which was determined to be caused from burned food.
Sunday:
Called at 8:57 a.m. to a fire alarm at Mississippi Terrace Apartments, 215 SW Fourth St., for a fire alarm, which was determined to be unfounded.
