Brainerd firefighters respond to calls

Firefighters respond to gas leak, vehicle fire and carbon monoxide alarm.

The Brainerd Fire Department responded to a variety of calls since Friday, Oct. 1.

  • Called at 12:17 p.m. Friday to a gas leak on the 15000 block of Dellwood Drive in Baxter. Firefighters provided standby assistance as the utility companies were on scene.

  • Called at 7:33 a.m. Saturday to a carbon monoxide alarm on the 7800 block of Highland Scenic Road. Upon investigation, it was determined to be unfounded.

  • Called at 12 p.m. Sunday to a vehicle fire on the 16000 block of Crooked Road, but were canceled en route.
