On Thursday, Brainerd Adult Basic Education recognized 11 graduates who earned their GED diplomas.
The GED testing includes: reasoning through language arts, science, social studies and mathematical reasoning. Graduates obtained passing scores on all four of these tests.
The graduates were: Tim Gangloff, Michaela Hart, Josiah Hayden, Eric Holthusen, Elaine Long, Michael Schwab, Brandy Solberg, Melissa Stirewalt, Jacob Stout, Nicole Tuntland and Jami Young.
Free GED testing is available to Minnesota residents for a limited time by using the voucher code MNGED80, though retest fees will apply.
Through Brainerd Community Education, Brainerd ABE is now enrolling adult learners for free GED preparation classes. Brainerd ABE is located at Central Lakes College. Call 218-855-8165 for more information.
