The Brainerd Lakes Regional Airport Commission will have a fiscal planning workshop on Tuesday, June 9, as it prepares for the receipt of federal funding designated for the airport under the 2020 Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act.
The workshop is scheduled to occur in two separate sessions.
Members of the airport commission will kick off the workshop in a session 9-10:30 a.m. to discuss the community role of the airport related to the overall economic framework of the Brainerd lakes region.
Airport businesses and tenants are then invited from 1-2:30 p.m. to discuss the role of the airport related to a business perspective.
Members of the public are welcome to join the discussion in a socially distanced fashion during both of the sessions within the Passenger Terminal Building at 16384 Airport Road, Brainerd.
