A magic show celebrating the birthday of Frosty the Snowman will be 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, at the Brainerd Public Library.
Presented by Robert and Lynn Halbrook, the show is designed especially for children age 2-6. The children will help prepare a surprise birthday party, complete with decorations and even a little magic for Frosty.
"After all of these preparations, will Frosty really show up? Imagine the smiles, laughs and cheers as the man made of snow makes his grand appearance at the end of the show," organizers stated in a news release. "The kids can and will hug Frosty, dance with him and even pose for pictures."
This presentation is sponsored by the Friends of the Brainerd Public Library through its volunteer and fundraising efforts, and is free of charge to the public. Each year, the Brainerd library circulates over a quarter-million books, DVDs and other materials to area residents, provides free computer access and offers numerous programs and classes.
