The Brainerd License Office and all other deputy registrar offices across the state will close Wednesday through Friday, Nov. 11-13.
The offices are closing while the Minnesota Department of Public Safety launches its new MNDRIVE title, registration and driver's license system. The officers will reopen Monday, Nov. 16. According to a news release, MNDRIVE will replace the troubled MNLARS system launched in 2017.
โWe are sure there will be the usual bumps and bruises that come with any new data system,โ the license office stated. โOur hope is this will be a much smoother process. Please be patient with our staff as we learn and grow comfortable with this new system in order to better serve you.โ
