Brainerd man injured in crash

A 27-year-old Brainerd man was injured Sunday when the vehicle he was driving lost control on Highway 25, just south of Thompson Road and went into the ditch, reported the Minnesota State Patrol

Charles F. Ruppert, who suffered minor head injury and shoulder pain, was transported by private vehicle to Essentia Health St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd where he was treated and then released.

The crash was reported at 7:40 a.m.

The Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
