The Brainerd Police Department issued numerous tickets following a fight Tuesday night, Sept. 29, in Gregory Park in Brainerd.
Officers responded at 8:53 p.m. to a report of a fight involving mostly juveniles — a group of 15- to 18-year-olds. There was an exchange of comments between people and a fight ensued.
Officers issued numerous tickets to those present that included fifth-degree assault, disorderly conduct, underage consumption and no seat belt use. Six people were issued citations.
This was not a situation by chance, some of the people involved were familiar with one another, police reported.
