Some residents have been without power today in the Buffalo Hills area and north Brainerd, reported Scott Magnuson, Brainerd Public Utilities superintendent.
The outage in southeast Brainerd was first reported around 11 a.m. and affected the Essentia Health-Brainerd clinic for about a half hour. The outage was caused by a blown fuse.
Later this afternoon, residents in north Brainerd around Third Street North lost power after trees fell on a powerline. As of 3:30 p.m., crews were still working to restore power there.
More information will be posted when it becomes available on BrainerdDispatch.com.
