The Brainerd Public Schools summer food service program is hosting a Teddy Bear Picnic 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. July 6 in the lot adjacent to the Washington Educational Services Building parking lot.
The district will serve sub sandwiches, carrots, apples, chips, milk and a frozen treat. The event is free to all children under 18 years of age. Children are encouraged to bring their favorite stuffed animal.
In case of inclement weather lunch will be served inside Washington Educational Services Building. If possible, groups bringing large amounts of children can call ahead of time to let the district know how many children are attending. For more information, call 218-454-6936.
