Forum Communications Co. page designer Becca Clemens, based at the Brainerd Dispatch office, earned a second-place finish for her design work in the 2018-19 Better Newspaper Contest.
Clemens was recognized for her portfolio of design work for the Duluth News Tribune, another Forum Communications Co.-owned property. Her work was selected from entries for all Minnesota daily newspapers entered in the contest, organized by the Minnesota Newspaper Association.
Commenting on Clemens' portfolio, a judge wrote: "Such a tough category and of course very subjective. Loved your design."
