Two drivers suffered injuries in a broadside crash in Mille Lacs County Thursday.
Kelly J. Friend, 25, Onamia, and Robert K. Holmin, 43, Deerwood, both suffered non-life-threatening injuries, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.
The crash, on wet roads, was reported at 1:54 p.m. Thursday on Highway 169 and Baffie Bend.
Friend was driving a Pontiac Grand Prix north on Highway 169 and was turning left onto Baffie Bend Road when she pulled in front of an oncoming Dodge Avenger, the state patrol reported. Holmin was driving the Dodge south on Highway 169. The vehicles collided in the southbound lane. Both vehicles were totaled in the crash.
Friend, who was wearing a seat belt, was transported to Mille Lacs Health System in Onamia. Holman was taken to Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby. He was also wearing a seat belt.
