Broadside crash sends 3 people to hospital

PILLAGER--Three people were injured in a two-vehicle broadside crash at 11:37 a.m. Tuesday on Highway 210 and 37th Avenue near Pillager in Cass County.

PILLAGER-Three people were injured in a two-vehicle broadside crash at 11:37 a.m. Tuesday on Highway 210 and 37th Avenue near Pillager in Cass County.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported a Mercury Sable driven by Wendy E. Albertson, 36, Pillager, was westbound on Highway 210, turning south on River Street, also known as 37th Avenue, when it collided with a Buick Enclave driven by Richard L. Bulduc, 74, Motley, which was eastbound on Highway 210.

The drivers and Bolduc's spouse, Beverly J. Bolduc, 72, Motley, were transported to Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd for non-life-threatening injuries. They all were wearing their seat belts, the state patrol reported.

The Cass County Sheriff's Office assisted the state patrol at the scene.
