The Cass County Sheriff’s Office and area lake associations began removing navigational buoys and markers from area lakes Friday, Oct. 9.
Boaters, fishermen and hunters should use caution and familiarize themselves with area lakes they intend on traveling, the sheriff’s office stated. Buoys are inspected, cleaned, repaired and stored for the winter months.
