A dog walk fundraiser will take place at Buster Park on Saturday. The walk will start at 10 a.m. A short walk around Boom Lake will be $10 per person and the long walk (starting at Buster Park, under the College Drive bridge to the fire department, down Laurel Street to the Post Office, to the high school, down the hill to the bridge and back to Buster Park) will be $20 per person. Children (12 and under) and dogs walk for free.
The park has been open for a year already, and things are running smoothly. However, there is always room for improvement. Any funds that are collected will go toward the park.
Buster Park is located at 1101 East River Road, in Brainerd. Everyone is welcome to attend this fundraiser. This is a rain or shine event.
