The Brainerd Fire Department responded to two calls Monday.
The first call was at 7:55 a.m. to Northern Lights Apartments, 511 D Street, for a fire alarm. Firefighter investigated and determined it was a maintenance issue.
Then at 12:19 p.m., firefighters were called to a boat fire at Whipple Beach in Baxter. Firefighters were cancelled en route.
