PINE RIVER-A sloppy Joes feed to benefit cancer for Kathy Babb will be 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at the American Legion in Pine River.
Cost is $6 a plate. There also will be a bake sale and silent auction.
Babb, a wife, mother and long-time caregiver to many special needs people in the community, was recently diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. The family is hosting the benefit to raise funds to help offset the financial costs for care and treatment.
