RANDALL — A Long Prairie man was injured Sunday, Sept. 27, after his vehicle collided with a John Deere Tractor hauling farm equipment south of Randall.
The Minnesota State Patrol was called to the crash at 7:59 p.m. on Highway 10 and 200th Street in Darling Township. The tractor, driven by Bennie J. Holtz, 36, Flensburg, was traveling west on Highway 10 on the shoulder over the white line with flashers displayed, the state patrol reported. Darrin V. Gorka, 33, Long Prairie, driving a Hyundai Elantra, was also heading west on Highway 10 and rear-ended the tractor.
Gorka was transported to CHI Saint Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls and later transferred to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Holtz was not injured.
The Morrison County Sheriff's Office, Randall Fire Department and Mayo Ambulance assisted the state patrol at the scene.
