WADENA -- A 56-year-old man was injured Thursday, Sept. 19, when the Yamaha motorcycle he was operating was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Highway 29 and Seventh Street Southwest in Wadena.
The Wadena Police Department responded to the crash at 5:44 p.m. Police reported Aiden Larson, 16, Wadena, was driving a Pontiac car, when he stopped at a stop sign facing south and then exited from the school parking lot onto Highway 29, striking the 2008 motorcycle, operated by Bradley Cantleberry of Deer Creek, who was traveling west on Highway 29.
Bradley, who was not wearing a helmet and was transported by Tri-County Ambulance to Tri-County Health Care in Wadena for non-life threatening injuries. Larson was not injured.
The Wadena County Sheriff's Office assisted police at the scene.
